František Hodonský / Flooded Symphonies

Flooded Symphonies, held on the occasion of the artist's 80th birthday, is focused on Hodonský's work characterized by a more relaxed painting style and a shift towards almost pure abstraction, done in rich, yet subtle transitions of color. At the same time, these works capture the essence of his impressions of a constantly changing landscape that presents him with ever newer stimuli. The exhibition is thus by no means a retrospective; instead, it is synthesis of his previous experiences that shows his search for and discovery of new ways of perceiving nature.
