A survey of selected works by ten students, graduates, and teachers of the Sculpture and Space Studio at the University of West Bohemia's Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art in Pilsen. The studio, which was founded and headed for one decade by the sculptor Jiří Beránek, is known for its comprehensive approach to sculptural practice; it is currently headed by sculptors Benedikt Tolar and Luděk Míšek. This year's exhibition is the first to work with a “live” studio, thus providing direct evidence of the festival's dynamism and diversity as it slowly evolves into a platform for presenting outstanding works by graduates of Czech art schools. Each edition presents a new perspective on diverse ways of working with public space, and in so doing enriches Klatovy with unique artistic experiences.
